The Black Bayou study area roughly corresponds to the area bounded by Poplar Avenue on the north, a diagonal line from Oak Court Mall to Getwell and I-240 on the east, I-240 on the south, and Prescott Road on the west, including the neighborhoods of Sherwood Forest, Normal, the University of Memphis, and the western portion of Audubon Park. (click here for an interactive map)
