Certification
The City of Memphis is the primary certifying agency for the City of Memphis and all City funded projects. SMWBE certification with the City of Memphis is FREE. If you do not have a current certification with another agency, you may apply for the City Of Memphis in-house certification.
Compliance
Contract Compliance serves as the support agency and administrative arm to the Equal Business Opportunity (EBO) Program and the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Program.

It’s that time again! Get excited! Join Mayor Jim Strickland, his administration and other partners for our annual We Mean Business Success Summit Sponsored by FedEx. This year’s Symposium will provide certified and registered vendors and potential vendors with an opportunity to become familiar with the City’s diversity programs and by providing an expo consisting of city divisions, outlining upcoming projects with the City of Memphis, Shelby County Government, Shelby County Schools and other partners.
