Memphis Animal Services is staying open for 12 straight hours on Saturday, December 17, from 9am-9pm, so we can get as many dogs and cats as possible into happy homes! Come see us at 2350 Appling City Cove.
Each pet will get to pick a present from under the Christmas tree AND take a holiday family photo on their way out to their new life! Hot chocolate will be available for human guests, and we’ll have holiday coloring pages and crayons for the kids.
The 12 Hours of Christmas is being made possible by Best Friends Animal Society. MAS was awarded $10,000 from Best Friends to achieve positive outcomes for the pets in their care. This grant also funded the shelter’s Fall Foster Challenge, held in October.
All adoptions at MAS, regardless of adoption fee, include: spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, collar, leash, customized ID tag, heartworm testing and treatment medications if needed (dogs), and FeLV testing (cats). The average adoption fee at MAS is $40 but regular fees range from $20 to $80. Our available pet population changes daily and can be seen here.
