Beginning Monday, February 7, at 9 a.m. and lasting until 6 a.m., Wednesday, February 9, South Second Street between Union Avenue and Peabody Place as well as Gayoso Avenue between South Second Street and November 6th Street, will be closed to through traffic to allow the contractor to set up a crane used for replacing cooling towers at the top of building at east side of South Second Street (ServiceMaster).
Motorists who normally use Second Street between Union Avenue and Peabody Place as well as Gayoso Avenue between Second Street and November 6th Street should find an alternate route during the duration of the closure. Delays are expected.
The signed detour route will make use of Union Avenue, Fourth Street and Peabody Place.
