Beginning Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 7 a.m., Porter Street between Ioka Avenue and Provine Avenue will be completely closed to through traffic. During this time, a railroad contractor is repairing the bridge deck. The closure will remain in place until Wednesday morning, May 3, 2023.
Porter Street will be open to local traffic up to the railroad tracks closure signage.
During the closure, drivers who normally use Porter Street between Ioka Avenue and Provine Avenue should use an alternate route.
Signed detour routes will use Ioka Avenue, Neptune Street, Provine Avenue, Alston Avenue, and Porter Street.
