Beginning Friday, July 15, at about 7 a.m. and lasting until 5 p.m. the same day, Kyle Street between Waverly Avenue and Southern Avenue will be closed to through traffic to allow a railroad contractor to perform reconstruction of the railroad track crossing.
Local traffic will have access on Kyle Street up to the closure at the railroad tracks.
Motorists who normally use Kyle Street between Waverly Avenue and Southern Avenue are advised to use an alternate route during the days of closure.
The signed detour route will make use of Waverly Avenue, Rayner Street and McLemore Avenue/Southern Avenue.
