Beginning Thursday, March 25, at about 5 p.m., Chelsea Avenue between Warford Street and Highland-Bayliss Avenue will be blocked to through traffic to allow the railroad contractor, AMS Services, to perform a reconstruction to the rail spur track crossing at this location. This closure will last until around 4 p.m. on Monday, March 29.
Area motorists should find an alternate route. The signed detour route will make use of Warford Street, Jackson Avenue and Bayliss Avenue.
