Beginning Monday, December 6, at 9 a.m. and lasting until 4 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, Central Avenue between McLean Boulevard and Barksdale Street will be closed to through traffic to allow the contractor to perform sewer installation.
Motorists who normally use Central Avenue between McLean Boulevard and Barksdale Street should find an alternate route during the closure. Delays are expected.
The detour route will make use of McLean Boulevard, Cowden Avenue, Barksdale Street and York Avenue.
Access to adjacent properties will be maintained for local traffic during construction.
