Mayor Strickland vetoes Ordinance 5756

From Mayor Jim Strickland:

Dear Chairwoman Robinson, 

I have vetoed Ordinance No. 5756 and ask the City Council to sustain the veto. The Ordinance strips the right of the citizens of Memphis to decide on issues of public safety and crime prevention.
