Beginning Wednesday, August 31, at 9 a.m., Highland Street at Southern Avenue will be closed to through traffic to allow the railroad to perform reconstruction work on the railroad track crossing at this location. This closure will be in effect until Thursday, September 1.
Motorists who normally use Highland Street at Southern Avenue are advised to use an alternate route during the days of closure. Delays are to be expected.
The signed detour route will be posted by the contractor.
