To date, 1,132 City Mask Complaints have been inspected by Code:

• 1,019 complaints have been resolved as “compliant” following inspection by Code
• 25 current open matters.  The following is a breakdown of the open matters:

All of Shelby County, including the municipalities and the unincorporated areas are under Safer at Home orders. Limited service restaurants, bars, clubs, beer pubs, wine bars and taprooms are now allowed to reopen for in-person service under the same requirements as full-service restaurants, under the current Health Directive No. 12, which went into effect on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. Health Directive No. 12 also provides for safety measures for hookah / vaping / cigar bars / lounges, provides safety measures for multi-person biking vehicles, and lifts all occupancy restrictions, while retaining social distancing requirements of at least six feet between patrons.

On September 23, 2020, the Shelby County Health Department issued a revised Health Order and Directive Regarding Masks and Cloth Face Coverings, which may be viewed at www.shelbytnhealth.com/healthdirectives.

• This Directive lifts some of the previous restrictions on limited service restaurants, bars, clubs, beer pubs, wine bars and taprooms, allowing them to reopen for in-person service under the same requirements as full-service restaurants.
• Provides for safety measures for hookah/vaping/cigar bars/lounges.
• Provides safety measures for multi-person biking vehicles.
• Lifts all occupancy restrictions, while retaining social distancing requirements of at least six feet between patrons.

Approved masks may be picked up, while supplies last, at all Shelby County Health Department locations listed below during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., with the exception of the Collierville clinic, which is open Tuesday and Thursday only. No appointment is needed to pick up a mask.
