Warming Centers:

The City’s three Warming Centers were deactivated this morning. Individuals in need of additional support will be routed to nonprofit partners. There have been a number of agencies that have worked to coordinate support for the warming centers over the past week, including: The Office of Emergency Management, Parks, HCD, Shelby County Community Services, Shelby County Emergency Management, MATA, Community Alliance for the Homeless, Hospitality Hub, Room in the Inn, Constance Abbey, and the Travelodge Hotel. Thank you to all involved.

The Hollywood Community Center, Ruth Tate Senior Center and Lewis Senior Center served more than 1,600 meals and provided shelter for individuals seeking assistance during the winter storm.

Solid Waste: Effective Monday, February 22, Solid Waste resumed collection services.  Please place carts on curbs away from ice patches that could be a tripping hazard for employees if possible.
