Effective Monday, January 3, City Municipal Courts in-court appearance times will change. The Courts will continue staggered scheduling to maintain physical distancing of 6 feet.

2nd Court Session 10:30 a.m.
Division 2-Judge Tarik Sugarmon
1st Court Session 12:30 p.m.
2nd Court Session 2:00 p.m.
Division 3-Judge Jayne Chandler
1st Court Session 10:00 a.m.
2nd Court session 1:30 p.m.
You may contact the City Court Clerk’s Office at (901) 636-3400 for further information or assistance with your ticket. Additionally, the Poplar Avenue entrance at the Northwest corner of Poplar and 3rd Street remains a dedicated entrance for citizens coming to City Courts. You may enter at any public security entrance but there may be lines.
PLEASE NOTE:
1) Only the person who was ticketed will be allowed into the building.
2) Please bring any necessary documentation such as registration, proof of insurance, valid driver’s license, etc. and have them available for the clerks
