Due to inclement weather, the City of Memphis will operate with only essential personnel coverage on Tuesday, February 16. As a result, the following services will be impacted: Memphis Parks, Memphis Animal Shelter, Libraries, Community Centers (excluding warming centers), Code Enforcement, Permits Office, City Treasury, 311 and 211 will be closed. Tax payments can be made online or by phone at 901-636-7200. Solid Waste services will be suspended for the day. The Division of Planning and Development will operate online only with no in-person appointments. We are continuing to monitor the weather and road conditions, and will update the public again should there be any changes or additional closures.
MATA will suspend service early this evening but will continue to support OEM to transport to warming centers. MATA will resume limited service tomorrow morning. Check www.matatransit.com for the latest details.
