Applications open for MPLOY Youth Summer Experience & Memphis Ambassadors Program

The City of Memphis Office of Youth Services has started the application period for the MPLOY Youth Summer Experience and Memphis Ambassadors Program (MAP).

Applicants will be chosen through a lottery system and compensated based on age group and education level. To be eligible for the MPLOY Youth Summer Experience and Memphis Ambassadors Program (MAP), prospective applicants must be a Memphis resident and apply online at https://cityofmemphisyouth.org . Applications will close December 31.

“Providing meaningful opportunities for our youth is critical to their development as they prepare to move into the working world,” said Mayor Jim Strickland.  “Making sure we do our part is one of my top priorities.”

The MPLOY and MAP programs will be virtual for summer 2021 and run June 2021 – July 2021. MPLOY will offer approximately 2,000 youth and young adults ages 14-22 skills training and more.
