Worth Morgan

Councilman Worth Morgan is proud to represent the citizens of District 5, which includes such notable City landmarks as the Pink Palace Museum, Midtown, and the world-renowned Memphis Zoo. A lifelong Memphian, Morgan is an active member of St. John’s Episcopal Church and an MUS alumnus.

Morgan cultivated his passion for politics by serving as a White House Intern in 2008 and later, as the Memphis office manager for then- gubernatorial candidate, Bill Haslam, during the 2010 campaign. His grassroots experience carries with him as he serves the City of Memphis with a local-neighborhood vibe and approach.

Morgan currently serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee, Vice Chair of MLGW Committee, and sits on the City of Memphis Pension Board and Chickasaw Basin Authority.

Morgan is happily married to Bonner. Morgan is also the youngest of three, with elder sisters, Musette and Kendall. He credits his parents, Allen and Musette, with instilling in their children the value of service, and dedication to community.
